Metz France

Metz, France located about 1 1/2 hours from our home.  We visited Metz in mid January, you can see that I've been a bit behind with my blog postings but wanted to share some of our photos and the time we had there.

Only in Metz for the afternoon, we did a lot of walking to view the major sites in the city.  A beautiful French city.  I was surprised that it really felt French even though so close to Germany.  

 This one of the major sites the city is known for, while taking pictures, these swans were near by in the water.

We enjoyed a great lunch and a short walk around to a number of shops in the city.

Pentatonix

Hello,

It' has been a while since posting, no worries we have been out and about seeing more of Germany and enjoying as much of Germany as we can during the crazy winter!!  This post will a bit different as it doesn't have anything to do with my travels.

I believe it was over the holiday break I watched the movie Pitch Perfect.  This was a great movie for someone who loves musical and a lot of singing.  This was though a bit unique.  From this movie I did some web searching and found the group Pentatonix.

Pentatonix I have heard once before do a cover for the song by Gotoye, Somebody That I Used to Know.  The original is an amazing song, the cover by Pentatonix is just as good as the original.  I discovered the group has done a number of covers of some of the most popular songs that are out there today.

If anyone wants to check out a new type of sounds check out Pentatonix.
